Ok I know this been asked a million times but I'm going to ask again. I broke my key in my ignition and replaced my key and lock cyclinder in my mustang. Now of course my theft system is active and I can't start the car. It will cost me 200 dollars to tow the car and 180 dollars to program new keys. I hate these dealer anto theft systems. Is there anyway to disable or bypass the pats system in my car. I know in chevy you can install resistors to match the ohm readings of the chips in the key i did that in my wifes camaro because the wire in the steering colum broke for the chip reader in the steering colum. I'm tired of the anti theft systems in the cars I'm going to look into a after matket alarm system but I will have to have a operating key to get a after market alarm so thats my pradicament what can I do is there anyway to bypass or disable the alarm? I will like to start my car without haveing to pay 400 dollars or even more. I see i put this in the wronf forum sorry

PATS is a pain in the @$$. I've never seen it bypassed without a programmer.

Not saying its impossible.....but.... I've never seen it done.
