2001 Gt Bullitt Wont Idle Down

2001 GT Bullitt has 146K miles on it and recently it wont idle down and will sometimes vascilate between 1400 - 2200 rpm it is a 5 speed manual trans and with the engine not idling down it almost like cruise control

take it to autozone to get them to read your car.

Is the Service Engine light on?

You may get code P1506, meaning your Idle Air Control is dirty or needs to be replaced.

I suggest you buy a new one from Rock Auto for ~$90, DO NOT BUY ONE FROM AUTOZONE. It will not work.
