Anybody done one & how hard is it ?

6-Bolts,2-electrical connections and take the tension off the automatic tensioner..
It will take you almost as long to pop the hood and disconnect the battery

I wish that every car had an alternator on sooooooo stupidly easy to change as the 4.6 Mustang. I have changed more than one in a parking lot using only a socket drive handle, and a pair of pliers. I tend to buy salvage yard alternators because the alternator is so easy to change. I generally get several years between changing.

Thanx for the reminder....my 1989 GMC 350 is also easy.....going to by an emergency replacement just to have , even though my car only has 13,500 miles on it
