The metal tire sensor band broke off the sensor inside my tire. The sensor is still on the rim. Will it work with out the band attached? What is the band for? The tire sensor light does not come on. I purchased PDQPMS o.e. Replacement sensor part #OSE-7635S-R from American Muscle. It says it is replacement for 2008 mustang. It does not have a band. Will this replacement sensor work as it does not have a band? Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
