i have a 2001 3.8l that i have been driving daily. the body is in perfect condition so i was thinking about doing a 4.6 swap. i looked into it for a while and realized it was not worth it so now im looking into doing a turbo 3.8l. could any one give me any insight into this such as is it worth it and whats the cheepest way to do it. Thanks!

It won't be as simple as slapping a turbo on the 3.8L. You'll need to address the weaknesses of the 3.8L first (headgaskets) as well as upgrade the fuel system and other supporting systems before getting to the turbo plumbing.
Honestly, it would be a much more reliable setup to swap in a V8, vs modifiying the stock 3.8L for turbo duty. Not saying it can't be done, but cheap + turbo never works out well.
