Sorry to bring this post back from the dead, but I recently purchased a 2006 GT parts car and I'll be doing this swap in the next few months. I've received lots of good info from people on facebook groups. Just wondering if anyone can put their experience up. Thanks Chris

I'd be nice if you could share your progress. I've done a lot of engine swaps over the year and in truth this one should be straight forward no Brainer especially since you have a donor car. When, or if the 2v goes in my 2000 I plan to do the same swap.
