I am replacing missing 5.0 fender emblems. Not even a drunk MOPAR guy will believe LX means a Loud eXhaust 4 cylinder package once my car starts. How far from the door gap and how far up are the right measurements for the front fender emblems? Thanks! I think they are missing after a repaint.

I looked in my service manuals, but couldn't find any info on placement of the badges. If I remember tomorrow, I will measure mine off of my '87 and post the measurements. I know the passenger side fender is still original paint, so I will post those measurements.

I followed this and mine look perfect.

2" from the end of the fender
1" up from the body crease above the molding

I also found this but it's not what I followed. It's from a 4-eyed and I felt it looked too high on mine.

Just measured mine. 3 1/4" from fenderwell and 1 1/8" up from moulding.

Alrighty, this is what I got. Please excuse the shotty GIMP image editor work, and the dirty car, it's been a long week.:) '87 LX, original paint, never been wrecked.

Thanks tca and ERM636 - I was hoping someone had a low mileaged / know no wrecks car to measure. I'm repainting my project - still going back and forth on 5.0 emblems / no emblems / could go 5.8 (installing a 351w) but those are - I don't know - odd to me - or small pony emblems (from 03/04 V-6) - Newer 5.0 coyote emblem .....leaning towrds the stock look and location of the original 5.0's.....:nice:so this great.

I like the black Coyote 5.0 emblem, thinking I may put them on my car.

I've not seen the blk one's on a fox - but there was a car in 5.0 magazine that had them stock silver - looked a little over sized for me - but pretty neat - I think w/your car and the dark colors it should pop.

If you are really that big, green and angry, you can put them anywhere you want.
I'd prefer you had the new motor to back them up.

Nawww, I'm not acually green. ;)

Funny you mention it though. I'm actually debating on what direction to take with that. I've got a 331 now and I'm on the fence about sticking with the stock 5.0L badges for the "sleeper" effect, or adding a set of 5.4L "Stroker" badges?
