The injection pump in the engine compartment on the drivers side and the turbo on the passenger side is shock towers. Can i just replace them with leaf springs? Will my stock mustang transmission bolt up?

Lets just say some things are not a good idea. Find a 289 or 302 to put in it .
To use leaf springs in the front you would also have to use a straight axle so if you like the look of the front up in the air that will do it. Build your self a clean car with resale value ,not something people will only laugh at .

A Cummins 6BT weighs 900+lbs by itself, so whether it will "fit" or "bolt up" are only part of the major problems you'll be facing.

Maybe at age 17 these aren't troll questions, but talk about beginner's luck.

And no, the transmission will not bolt up. Absolutely nothing is cross-compatible between that diesel and the old Mustang.

The torque curve and RPM of the operating range will be wrong for a lightweight, little car. It will be a curiosity at best, even after you have it all reinforced to handle the extra weight and torque. Build and turbocharge your existing 6. It will be more fun to drive and a lot easier to get drive able.
