Gorgeous car, but there is so much unknown issues with it. The car either starts up nicely, dies while driving.. or doesn't start at all. I've gotten a few tips on pumping the pedal once or twice before starting it up. But after doing that all the time and it still not work it's really exhausting. If I do get it on the road it overheats super fast and that's an issue all on its own. The coolant overfill is literally boiling. Any input or suggestions on what it could be? Thanks.

Has the motor been rebuilt or the head gaskets been replaced recently? If the head gaskets were put on wrong it will over heat . It may be sucking the radiator hose flat and preventing circulation .
Does it have the correct water pump or a reverse flow for a newer motor ?
Is the radiator plugged up ? Take off the cap and look inside and see if there is build up in the tubes .
Is it a Holley carb. ? The accelerator pump may have hardened .The new gas will dry them out and they will not pump .Change the pump to the green pump for alcohol it will not dry out and harden .
If it starts when cold but not when it is hot it may be vapor locking .
