It has been quite a while since I have posted, but I thought i would check in.
I recently got the opportunity to drive my personal car at the Kansas Speedway. Since the factory five cobra isn't done yet, I brought the 97 GT. The laps were paced at 60 to 65mph, but it was still a neat experience. The banking is something else and the car still wants to pull to the inside at those speeds (to slow).
The GT has over 230k miles now and is still kickin. The fan resistor pack burnt up the day before the track event, but i still had AC on high speed. Parts are in the mail.
The factory five is coming along. The engine is in and i hope to start it soon. It's probably 60% done now.
