Got in the car this morning and the AC will not come on. Looked at the compressor and the clutch is not pulling in. Checked fuses and ok. Going to check power to the compressor clutch tomorrow. But can someone tell me the location of the pressure switch's and if they can be changed without discharge of Freon.

There is one on the dryer and one on the line at condenser right near intake. This is on a 95 5.0 , not sure if the 4.6 is same. I know that the sensors will kick compressor off if there isn't enough refrigerant in system. However my ac knowledge is elementary.

On my system the high side sensor, near condenser has a valve. So you should be able to remove without leaking 134. The other on the dryer, I'm not sure about. Hope this helps
