I'm trying to find an easy way to get a way to play music in my 2005 Mustang, but I've only found videos and some older forums that suggest that I need to buy a large unit to hook up the auxillary input. I have an Iphone 6 that I am trying to connect through either aux or usb portability.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me a simple way to accomplish this without over spending. Many of the videos were from 5+ years ago so I am hoping that there have been newer methods to make this work.

I have two items that I think may work but would like to see if anyone knows if they can get the job done.

I've tried those adapters before and in my opinion they don't work very well. I went through 3 of them in about a month. My only suggestion is buy an aftermarket stereo if listening to your music is that important or like I did buy a big pack of CDs and burn them. 50 blank cd-r are only like $6 at fry's. If you do decide to buy a new stereo best buy has good prices
