Camshaft sepcialists.. I need your help

Ok I have a 74 302, i believe it to be stock on the inside, but for bolt ons it has an Edelbrock F4B Manifold, 4bbl Holley 600cfm, and headers. I want to get a hot cam for it, any reccomendations? I would love a rough stumbling idle, but I would rather have the best performance. Thanks in advance,

Chris

The Lunati Bracket Master II cam would be my choice for a street cam with excellent power across a broad power band with a "lopey" idle. Works at 1500-5000 rpm, gross lift is 488". Jegs sells the cam and lifter kit for 147.99.

Off the top of my head, something like 220i/230e duration @.050" would work well. (If you have screw-in studs and adjustable valvetrain, you can run a solid-lifter camshaft/lifters, and gain 10-15 hp over a similar profile camshaft with hydraulic lifters, due to the solid-lifter cam's steeper lobe ramp angles, and "more area under the curve")
