Cobra brake upgrade questions

I bought the cobra 10th anniversary brake upgrade from buyfordracing but had a slight issue with installation.

I was attaching the new lines to the caliper with the correct (coarse threaded) banjo bolts. I referenced a haynes manual which listed a torque spec of 29ft/lbs, however as I was tightening the bolt it snapped right in half before I hit 29 ft/lbs. Luckily I was able to find a place locally that sells the same kit, and I picked up a new set of banjo bolts. I was wondering if anyone knew the correct torque spec for these bolts. Tight enough that they don't leak. That torque spec was probably supposed to be 29 in. Lb. and was likely a misprint. I've never used a torque spec on banjo bolts, personally. Just tightened them up and went about my business.
