Coolant Help

Hey guys,

I posted a few days ago about how I drained my coolant and found metal shavings in it. Well, I bought a new water pump and before I install it I wanted to flush my system. So I but prestone flush solution and filled my radiator up with water.
I then took it out this evening for about 20 minutes. I took it on the freeway and got on it more than I normally do (I rarely drive it hard).
When I got home and lifted the hood to cool the engine there was water dripping from underneath and wayer top of the timing chain cover. I'm confused. My car has not leaked all summer. Why would it start leaking after this drive? Does it have anything to do with the flush solution or straight water? I noticed some of the hoses were bulging and one was spraying water.

During my drive the car never went over 190 according to my automated electric gauge.

Hopefully, it's just the hoses and not the timing chain cover too, but do u guys have any idea what would cause this?

Thanks!

Water boils at a lower temp than antifreeze.

If your gaskets were full of crud the flush chemical could have softened them.
