Differential Swap 3.27 To 3.55

I have a 2002 mustang GT with 3.27 gear ratios. I just bought a differential with 3.55 gear ratio that came out of a 2003 mach 1 only problem is that it didnt come with the pinion gear. Can i install it in my GT without changing the pinion gear?

No. You have to use the same gears as a set. They are different sizes. I just had 3.73s put in my car the other day and the new pinion gear was like half the size as the stock 3.27 one.
