Discs Vrs Drums

I am a new 1972 owner. My car is all original and I don't want to be the one to molest it in any way. I have drum breaks all around and wanted to convert to disc breaks on the front... What does that do to value of an original car? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks Jim

Adding disk brakes will only improve the value ,and make it stop a lot better as well.
