Guys im looking to get a 15x8 inch rim so i can put a 27 or 28 inch tire on it. What back spacing and offset are ideal for the 2011-2014 mustangs? I want to just be able to swap the rear rims and hit the track.
Also what type of tire do you recommend? Slick or radial? My mustang is an Auto and i plan on having 373 gears installed very soon. Ive looked at what size most guys recommend and its 28 inch but thats because they are a manual trans. They also recommend a slick for manual trans.

275/50 is a 26" tire and will work better with your 3.15 gears once you go to the 3.73 gears you may want the 275/60 tires that are 28". Either way stick to drag radials, they are far more stable than slicks and will hands down be faster both et and mph wise.

biggyfan, that's not my car, I just was using that as a reference picture as I just purchased a set of those rims myself. (still waiting for them to arrive) If you really interested in getting the fronts as well, I was referencing CjPony's Gotta Have it Race, if you got to their site they can give you more details.
