Driver Side Window Motor Issue

Replaced the motor (just the motor, not the regulator) and now the window will go almost to the very top but stops just a little shy of ALL the way up, about 1/4" of an inch, but enough to hear the wind whistling when driving over 60mph. Everything went back in correctly and seemed to be lined up exactly how it was before we pulled the old motor off. Any ideas on what could be causing it to stop from going all the way up as it was before? Thanks

take the door panel off and adjust the window stops as needed, its an art do not expect to figure it out quickly or get it right the first time... Good luck
