Efi To Carb

Does the car already have a carb on it or are you converting an EFI car to carb?
Is the EFI wiring harness and computer still in place?

Sorry its an 1989 not 1985...it has a efi to carb conversion already done to..fuel system already complete and efi harness removed..I know how to bolt intake to the heads and the carb to the intake..I'm just unsure of the connections to the intake and carb

At the risk of sounding like a douche, the intake bolts to the cylinder heads and the carb bolts to the intake. You will need gaskets for each. If you are having a hard time getting past this part it may be time to ask for some local help. There are things much more difficult than this that need to be considered. What are you doing for a fuel system? Your efi pump will not work without a very expensive regulator. Are you changing the pump completely? Do you have a new throttle cable? Is it a stick or automatic trans? Are you using new gauges or trying to incorporate the factory gauges? etc etc

I didn't feel like typing all that. Especially the etc., etc., etc.

@tmartintk hmmmm, two threads asking the same thing yet you say this is an 89 and in the other thread its an 85???

Come clean, and tell us what you are really working on and trying to do
I think it is time to merge these threads...

Like I said, this is starting to smell peculiar. Three threads for the same problem/question - he must not be getting a warm fuzzy feeling because he isn't getting cheers and pats on the back.

Once we see all three threads merged together, we can see a pattern. He doesn't get the warm fuzzies, so he starts another thread in hopes of getting some different answers.
