Been there ,done that. Most new sheet metal requires some tweaking .Just finished the trunk and it is pert near perfect. you sir are THE MAN!

Looking at these pictures reminds me of the car I bought in '01. I wanted the floor pans replaced, took the car, and the new pans (just front pieces, not rocket science) to a national chain shop. They welded the new pans right on top of the old ones. Left the rusty bits hanging down. What a mess.
The ugly work on your car which you are fixing, looks a lot like mine did.
I was annoyed, but that didn't get me out of paying for what we had contracted for. I haven't let anyone work on my cars but me, since that fiasco.
