Firing Order Help

If anyone remembers I posted about gt-40 manifold problems I think I've found the problem my firing order is wayyyy off but the thing is the online diagram I don't believe are right I will post a picture of how my wiring were before the swap can anyone tell my looking at my distributor cap what my firing order was??

The firing order is driven by the cam. If you happen to have an old, pre-H.O. 302 it's going to have a different order than the H.O. 351W is also different. If you find the right diagram matching your cam, it'll be fine. The manifold would not change your firing order. As it's hard to tell from the pictures where the wires are running, so it's going to be one of two options (302 firing order or 351W firing order). Try 'em both.

Edit: I see from your other post you figured it out.
 
  • 5.0 HO Firing Order: 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8
  • 5.0 (Older, non-roller) Firing Order: 1-5-4-3-6-2-7-8
HO is what I use for my 94 GT. Non-roller made my car misfire and hard start and stuff. I have GT-40 lower and upper intake also

  • 5.0 HO Firing Order: 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8
  • 5.0 (Older, non-roller) Firing Order: 1-5-4-3-6-2-7-8
