Ford Throttle Body?

Does anybody know if Ford made a 75mm throttle body for 99-04 4.6L? I found a Ford throttle body on craigslist and the guy said he measured it and it was 75mm. Thanks for any info.

More than likely it's an aftermarket throttle body. I do know that BBK, Edelbrock and Professional Products make a 75mm throttle body.

If it's a Ford throttle body, it will have Ford part number on it. Even then it could be from a Lightning (no idea what size they came with) or something.

All i saw on it from the pics was the ford badge on it, like the stock 65mm has.

There is a couple of years of the E250 and F250 that used a 70mm that bolts right up. Never heard a Ford 75mm, though.

I used to have one from the E250 on my 04 GT before I switched to A BBK 78mm.

A forum search would probably find you which year to get it from.

I have a 2000 and the guy selling says it came off his 02. I read on a couple other forum sites that roush used to have a 75mm. But i am not too familiar with the roush models.

Ford used to offer a 70mm TB in the FRPP catalog, but to my knowledge never a 75mm. Either way, I'd pick up either one if it was for the right money. If I had to buy new, I'd probably just buy the 75mm the first time. To each their own.

So i got the throttle body yesterday, got it for $40. Measured it when i got home and its a 70mm not a 75mm. So i think the guy was measuring the wrong side of the TB. You guys think incould fit the stock air intake tube over the 70mm throttle body?

Yea, i don't see why not. Doesn't hurt to try.
