I have the opportunity to purchase a complete Mustang shell. ( 2005-2009 ) body style. This shell was not acquired illegally but since it came right off the line at Foed and is in Ecoat there is no VIN. Does anyone know if I could file for an assembly title for such a project? I'm in the State of Michigan and the SOS website isn't too clear especially on something like this.
I would get a bill of sale if purchased from its current owner. The price and everything that I can get with it would makes great project car. However, if I can't make it street legal because of not being able to title it that would change things.
