But I want a set just for the back to put on when I go, I really want to use 15 inch in the back is this good? I want to have more tire instead of a low profile tire. these will be my first drag radial's, thanks for the info in advance. Oh and im looking for wheels and tires that are to pricey..

No need for 15's. 17-18 inch drag radials work for single digits at 170-180mph in the 1/4. Tire technology and drag radials have come a long way in the last 15-20 years.

Yeah likewise i have a set of 18x9 inch deep dish bullet rims with 275/40 nitto nt555's and there a pretty darn good tire i havent had a chance to take it to the track yet but on the street they are impressive a little expenaive but u get what u pay for at the end of the day

I run a 275/40-17 BFG or MT in my 3 2 valve mustangs. I ran the same tire at 850rwhp running mid 9's in my C6. Now I'm running 295/45-17's in my C5z with 100-150 more hp. You seriously don't need 15's. That is going to kill the handling of the car. I've run every street drag radial made and it's actually all I've run for the last 17 years on my cars. I like the Toyo drag radial(made by nitto)the best for anything under 500rwhp that sees a lot of street driving. I like the MT the best for a weekend warrior that sees more track. I run 345/30-19 NT05r's on the street now for cruising and can slowly roll in to the boost in 3rd on them and go wide open throttle. I made one pass on them and ran a measily 1.7 60ft at 875rwhp. But they last longer than other drag radials I've run, and have the stiffest side wall for the street.

For your setup, I'd run a 275/40-17 inch tire. I ran the standard nitto r for many years in the 250-260rwhp area. Decent at the track and good tire life.
