Headlight Bulbs

I replaced my headlights with the dark smoked units and upgraded the bulbs to Sylvania ZXE. My question is can the stock wiring harness handle a higher wattage than the stock 55w bulb?

Everything that I have read about these bulbs indicates that they also function at 55 watts for the low beams. Sylvania wouldn't make a vehicle specific application for this bulb if it would cause wiring harness damage, or fuse/relay failure.

I appreciate your reply but I think you misunderstood my question. I know that the Sylvania ZXE bulbs operate at 55w. My question is whether or not the stock wiring harness will handle a bulb that is higher than 55w. I am asking this because I have the dark smoked headlights and the 55w bulbs are not bright enough.
