help!!! engine running hot...or is it?

Hey all, I got a little problem going here, My temprature guage has never worked, but since we've been getting the hotter weather here in s/w pa. over the past week or two, The heat inside the interior of the car had become unbearable. To solve the problem, (or so I thought) I bypassed the heater core. Ever since I did this, the car still gets hot inside, and seems to be building more pressure in the radiator than normal, when I lift the release valve on the coolant cap, the overflow bottle starts gurgling like crazy. I'm not sure if this thing is actually running hot but not overheating or what?

Sounds like a good time to install a temp gauge to help better diagnose your problem. Were inside the car are you noticing the most heat? At your feet, coming from the trannie tunnel area?
