Hello, All That Come Visit.

when i was parking on a hill (Facing Down) and i notice a red leak coming from under the car. So this morning i checked it out and it looks like a metal line from the power steering pump is leaking. When i started the car up it started whining really bad. All fluid is gone =(

-Could anyone explain to me how to go about replacing this ?

It's very simple really.

Go to your favorite auto parts store and order a new line.
When the line comes in, ensure that you open the box and lay your hands on the new backing for each end (refer to the enclosed instructions).
Read the instructions that come with the new line and ensure you have the new backings installed correctly before you begin.
Replace it.

Be prepared to have a good supply of different wrenches because the b-nuts for these lines are very close to one another on the steering rack. Take your time and bring lots of patience so that you don't cross-thread anything.

It's a good idea to take the old line with you to the parts store for comparison. Some stuff that "says" it's the right part, isn't.

here is what looks like is leaking on your pump. You will notice there is a rubber o-ring on the fitting, you may be able to take the line off of the pump and see if it is not just a bad o-ring that you can replace or just buy this one in the link:

Wait so i don't have to buy the whole line i can just replace the one piece. Also how do you remove the hose on the other end.

I believe it may just be the O-Ring because if i wiggle the hose I can see it leaking through the top treads.

-Thanks
