I've been searching around looking for K-members, chassis stiffeners, etc for my '06 GT, but I'm curious about what locations you've had good luck with floor jack and stands placement. Generally, I either place the jack underneath the K-member right below the oil pan, or on one side or the other where the K-member bolts to the uni-body. It's large, flat, heavy steel plate, but I feel like that would risk damaging an aftermarket tubular K-member. I've also placed them under the lower control arms, but would be hesitant to do so with tubular control arms. Any advice?

I jack my car up from the UPR tubular k member frequently. It is round tube chromoly and there is no risk of damaging it whatsoever. I also support the car by the tubular front control arms as well with no issues.
