So I noticed my idle was a bit high... I went to lower it, by all manuals/accounts/how-tos the idle screw on the IAC goes counter-clockwise to lower, and every time I turned it clockwise it lowered. It idles like a kitten now and it brought back its off the start pep... but it had me confused as hell it was backwards, is my car a demon or am I mistaken?

IAC adjustment screw... counter clockwise for higher or lower idle ?

Which screw are you talking about?
The threaded rod on the right side (passenger) of the throttle body will open the throttle blade (allow more air in) when turned clockwise.

The allen screw under the little white rubber plug, on the left side (driver) of the throttle body, is the idle air bypass.
turning this counter clockwise will open the bypass, allowing more air to pass.

Rubber plug.

Everywhere I read is a clockwise for increase in idle, but mine decreases it. Not complaining, just curious as it had me confused and laughing at it.
