Knocking on start up

Hey guys, I have a 2008 Mustang GT with 30,000 miles on it and I've just noticed that when I start the car for the first time of the day and stand outside next to the front tire I can hear the engine making a slight knock for about 30 seconds or a minute. Also When I pop the hood the car ticks from each side of the engine, would this just be my injectors? My old 2001 GT had loud injectors, are the 3V's the same?

I have a couple of months left on my warranty. Do I need to take my car in? Or is this stuff normal?

If anyone has any more information I would really appreciate it.

Sorry, I thought you were talking about the new 5.0 for a second, alot of new 5.0 owners are having this issue.

Really? That sucks, my car isn't doing it that bad, but it's there.

The ticking noise is the injectors pulsing. The knock however can be serious or it can be something simple like the separator plate which is a common issue on these cars. I'd take it in just to be sure.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I'm just not a fan of any of the Ford dealers in my area so I really hate doing it.
