Manual Calls For Oil Pressure Of15 Psi @ 2000 Rpm ?

The Haynes service manual states that for the 2005-09 V6 should be 15 PSI at operating temperature and 2000 rpm, the V8 75 PSI. This can't be correct, can it? I have always thought that 35-40 is the lowest you would want. This must be a misprint, has anybody measured their V6 oil pressure with a gauge that has numbers, not just L-N-H?
Thanks to all

I am uncomfortable with only 20 psi oil pressure at 800 rpm engine normal operating temperature. When cold 85 degrees here in Miami it shows 50 psi. As oil warms, about 10 minutes drops to 20 psi at idle. At 1,500 rpm shows 40 psi and 2,500 50-55 psi. Should I use 20-30 weight oil or stick with the 5-30 weight? Here in Miami it only gets below 50 degrees maybe 5 days a year. I am old school car guy where if you had less than 30 psi you needed an engine rebuild. All ideas, suggestions, rants, insults welcomed.
Richard. Oops, 100,230 miles V6. Oil changed twice a year, about 2,000 miles
