My First Build/69 Coupe/ 96 351w

Ok I'm going to put this out there right away. I'm a nerd turned grease monkey over the past year. I want to start my first project and I've got a 69 Mustang Coupe with no motor and a rust bucket 1996 F250 with a 351W.

First question: Shoulda got a chevy, right? (Please don't kill me, my humor needs work)

Second question: Can I use this 351W from my rust bucket 1996 F250 in my 69 Mustang Coupe? (I just want to use the block and completely rebuild it.)

Third question: Keep it EFI or Carb it? (I would prefer to carb it if thats possible.)

The 351 from the truck will fit.

As far as the EFI from that F250 goes, ditch it. It's frelling (Farscape reference) terrible and the intake from it will never clear the hood. A carburetor or aftermarket EFI are your best bets.
