New Wheels ?

Hey all, I have a bone stock 2001 V6 and looking to get rid of those oem 15" rims. Currently considering wider and bigger wheels, 17 inch 2001 oem Cobras. My question is if can do so directly, or should I consider aftermarket 17 inch wheels with specific specs, and how wide can I go?

Those wheels should fit without any problem. Any stock style wheel from 94 to 2004 will fit without issues. Most are 17x8 and ford used 245/45/17 tires with them. Sizes taller than 17 and wider than 8 are available, just check with the seller or company that makes them for correct fitment and recommended tire sizes for your application.

Nope. Bolt on the new wheels and go.

17x8 wheels use 245/45/17 tires, and 17x9 wheels use 275/40/17 tires

You can go as wide as 10.5 in the rear if you wanted to.
