No limited slip in my v6.....

easy way to test out your rear end to see how well it locks up during wheel spin is to stop with one tire on pavement and the other on a gravel or grass shoulder. Power brake or dump the clutch and if the tire on the road squeals then good chance you have the limited slip rear end.

Yeah i can see now why to. When the car is up in the air, and a half mph spin is done to it, the clutch in no way will engage. It only engages when theres extreme slipping, using centrifical motion (guessing) to engage the clutch. But the Ford guy looked at the tag on the diff and told be it was open, so no limited slip standard in v6's.

I dont mean to drag up an older thread here, but you'll see a MUCH better time if you skip that water box at the drag strip... ;)
