Painting Door Panels

I've seen where you can paint/dye parts of the vinyl door panel on a Mustang. Does any know what is used to do this, and where to get it?

I did it on my gt because I had the 2 tone black and grey interior but the door panels were all grey here are some before and after pics.

I just used the duplicolor interior paint I got from pepboys and put a clearcoat on it but i prolly shouldnt have made it too shiny but it looks ok not great but ok.

It scratches easy but you can touch it up.
