Please Confirm: 2016 Sync 3 And Siri Hands Free

I haven't seen any marketing information to this effect, but I heard that Sync 3 would work with Apple CarPlay.

Can anyone confirm?

If that's not the case, how well does Siri Hands Free work to take calls, read texts, reply to texts, and start a playlist using only your voice?

Siri does work, but I live so close to work, all I use is Slacker Radio. I did hold the button down on the phone and it played the Siri sound through the stereo. I'd imagine it's fully featured, but I just haven't tried. I will try to give it a go on the way home and post results if someone else doesn't beat me to it.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are confirmed as being in the works, but not yet available.

Siri Eyes-Free works just like using on the phone, with the full range of commands available. It's enabled with a 2-3 second hold on the voice key on the steering wheel.
