I have a 04 mustang gt it sat up for a while decided to start driving it again now I'm having issues. It was acting like it wasn't getting fuel so I replaced the fuel pump got nothing. I replaced the relay control module under the passenger fender still nothing. The inertia switch is in the down position. Iv also checked the red and black wire going into the fuel pump control module I'm gettin power there. I'm at a loss on what to try next please if yall can help me out.

Double check the CCRM ground hasn't been disconnected. There's a large black wire with a white strip that goes from radiator core support grounds down and around the battery. Look for a single pin round connector. This is the CCRM ground. It sometimes gets disconnected during a battery install.

Confirm there is key on power at fuse F2.34. If no power suspect a bad ignition fuse.

Confirm there is key on poser at fuse F2.2 and F2.8. If no power, STOP and find out why.

1999-2004 BJB CJB fuse panel layout:

Turn the key on but do NOT crank. Does the theft light go out after a 3 second "prove out"? If not STOP and find out why.

Does the fuel pump run at each key on? A buddy can help listen by the fuel pump.

Crank with no start check list:

How long did your vehicle sit? If more than a year, your fuel may be old, and your ignition may be having a hard time firing off the old fuel. You also want to take a fuel pressure reading at the Schrader valve. Also replacing the fuel filter wouldn't be a bad idea. One last thing is to check for any dtc trouble codes. Keep us posted what you find.
