Power Brake Conversion Or Disk Brakes?

I have a '66 coupe, it originally had an I6 3 spd manual, but eventually converted to 302 automatic by a previous owner. Manual steering and brakes. The drum brakes were rebuilt recently, including a dual bowl master cyl, and they function as expected. I know I need to rebuild the front end, and I know I want to install the Bergeson power steering system. I'm trying to figure out what if anything I should do to the brakes.

If I have to choose between disk brakes on the front, or converting to power brakes using a kit similar to that on CJ Pony, which would result in more control when stopping the car? Given that the brakes work fine, from a laymen's perspective, is it important that I do any of these conversions now? It looks like the pwr brakes kit would be easiest to install when the car has been gutted.
