Problems with 4th gear...

Hello! Me again!

Anyone have problems with 4th gear occasionally popping out? I feel that it has to do with the clutch cable personally but anyone else have this problem? I have a short throw shifter and sometimes it feels like it isnt going all the way into 4th gear.. I did some research and I figure I can order one of those after market firewall adjuster's, cause I know the stock ones arent very dependable. But would this relieve the 4th gear problem?

your shifter stop ring in 4th gear is probably set to high. just remove it all together, you don't need it. the tranny has stops built in it already.
if that doesnt help, it may be your tranny.
