I purchased a 2004 Mustang Gt 5 speed with a bad motor.. After looking around I was able to purchase a low mileage motor from a 1999 Gt 5 speed. The shop already has the motor installed in the car BUT the stock wiring harness in the 04 is cut. I need to purchase the complete under hood harness but I am looking for input on what harness I need to buy?? The motor in the car now is a 1999 Windsor the old was obviously Romeo

Do I purchase an7 99-04 Engine harness or do I need either the 99 or 04 specific? I have not yet trailerd the car home from the shop.. They are leaving it in my hands to purchase a harness and hook it all up at my house

any input would be appreciate. I have gotten mixed answers and really need help

Your harness should click into the Windsor motor w/o issue. Worst case you can pu one from another 04 but I can't think of any difference off of the top of my head. Use your intake as the 99 may not be an alum cross over one. Maybe your sensors if they were known to be good.
