I recently raced (autocross) against with a guy in a 1968 coupe who apparently had swapped in S197 front suspension. So of course I want to do it (after I buy a 67) - but what about the rest of the suspension, has anyone swapped in the S197 rear set up (4-link, etc.) to a 67-68?
THANKS for your input!

p.s. if this topic is already covered, please steer me to it with links!

thanks!

the S197 rear suspension is a three link design, not a four link. and if you want a similar suspension, check out street or track

Street or Track LLC

they have all kinds of stuff for the early cars.

as to the front suspension, there again a similar design is available from a few places. it all depends on what you want from the car, what is legal in your class, how much you are willing to spend, and how much you can do yourself.

before you go and try to build a system yourself, or even adapt a system from another car, see what is available that has already been properly engineered.
