Shifter Question...

Hey, I was wondering since I have had the car if it had an aftermarket shifter because the shifts are so smooth and easy. 2-3 is just straight up like it's nothing. I took a picture of the shifter...

It looks like a stock handle to me. Pull the handle off (2 bolts) and pull the dust cover (4 bolts) and take a picture of the actual shifter, and shifter base and we can tell you. Someone may have used a short throw base/shifter and a stock handle.

I will do that tommorow I am wiped out today. Switched out the front lower control arms with new bushings and balljoints and got an alignment. I will see if I can do that tommorow, I was just curious. If the shifts can get better that would be awesome too!

I noticed a very nice improvment over the stock shifter with my MGW.
