Ok, I admit it, I need a little help here. I am new to the site and have been doing some research and seen some steering problems with following the grooves on the road, but mine is a little different. The car feel like it has a dead spot in the straight position, in other words, you constantly have to drive the car to keep it straight, it will wear you out,
NOW the car, Modified 2001 v6 car with new built 2003 motor. 17x9 GT wheels with 245 40r17 front,
265 40zr17 rear. car has been dropped 1.5" on all 4 corners. Full 2.5" dual exhaust with H pipe. Auto trans, new struts, Shocks, body kit and hood.
I have only had the car about six months and didn't run when I bought it, it was bought as a project car and boy has it been!
BTW I had this issue on a 68 Camaro and it turned out to be a bad steering box. Lot of slop in gears. Could it be the same on this car? I just drove the car for the first time yesterday, before I start process of elimination a little help would be appreciated.
