T-5 swap ?'s for a 65 mustang!!!

What is all needed to swap a T-5 into a 65 mustang.How much work is it?What all needs to be done?I will be putting a 87 302 in it also.

I went through Dark Horse Performance. Any company that specializes in 5 and 6 speeds into old pony and muscle cars will help you with everything you need.

I put a TKO in the 65.

You have to get another tranny crossmember, do something for the clutch mechinism. I made my crossmember and adapted a newer style quadrant and cable setup. There are a ton of companies selling these conversions. Are you keeping the 87 motor F.I. or going to carb?

Careful if you have an H pipe. We had to get ours moved to fit the tranny. We went with a McLeod hyrdraulic clutch.
