Well, finally got the wheels mounted today! It's been eating me up having them sitting in my room but thanks to Tedd @ TMS I got a nice set of skins for em' +1 to Tedd!!! TY.

the setup:

20x9 Saleen Dark Horse Chrome with 255/35/20 Toyo Proxie 4
20x10 Saleen Dark Horse Chrome with 295/30/20 Toyo Proxie 4

and the pics. Sorry, nothing great. I just shot them really quick (no tripod handy) and spent 10 minutes in Photoshop on each.

Hope you like.

I like the Proxes, I have them on my car as well. They are not a tire made for drag racing but good in the rain untill they start to get below half tread then they get a little squirlly.

I like them....

Did you just add 200lbs. of unsprung weight to your car? :)
Does it feel slower, and harder to stop/turn?

For one, these are definitely not as heavy as most 20's. I compared them to Shelby Razors when I picked the wheels up and the Razors felt like they weighed a ton compared to mine.

Secondly, yes. It feels slower but that's why I have track wheels.

Besides, I told myself "Once I hit 11's I'm working on appearance mods for a bit".

If I recall....the Saleen "Heritage" wheels in 19" flavor....were forged. There is a good chance that Saleen may forge some of his other wheel designs. This would be the reason why they felt lighter than the Razors, which are cast aluminum.

I think 20's "look" great on this car, but I can't bring myself to reduce my performance at the expense of looks. I won't be building a HP monster anytime soon, just going with basic bolt-ons....so I want to keep as much HP as I can. Thus, forged wheels in 18" flavor will be chosen....whenever I can get the $ to do it. :)
