So today I encountered a weird problem. I pulled into an automatic car wash, put the car (2001 GT w/ Auto tranny) in park and left it on until the wash was finished. When I put it in drive to pull away it acted as if the transmission didn't engage. It seemed like the car was in neutral, it just revved but wouldn't move. I put in D2 and still would just rev but not move. The service engine light came on during this as well. I turned the car off and back on and the light went away and it went into gear fine as if nothing happened. Any ideas what could have caused this?
