Upgrade Your Sn-95 Console With A Dual Cupholder

[Mark 95 GT Convertible]

My 95 GT convertible has an automatic transmission. Just behind the shifter is the ashtray. I've noticed that on later model Mustang's that in place of the ashtray are two cup holders. My question is, will the whole console assembly (behind the shifter) bolt right in to my car? I can see a seam where the console is obviously a separate part, but I was wondering if anyone knows if it is a direct bolt in. And, what years have the two cup holder set up? Thanks, Mark.

Thanks! When I have more time I'll re read the whole article and see if I just want to modify mine, or get a different console. I already have the later model dual black cup holder itself. Thanks again.

what's a cupholder? I thought it was the space between the E brake and the passenger seat.
