What Do I Need To Know To Do A 6 Speed Swap ,or Should I Not

Should I go to the ford swap meet and buy a 6 speed change over? or put the A-5 kit in the one I have?
if I go 6 speed what do I need to know, are their some 6 speeds that I don.t want?

or is someone just going to sell me a broken 6 speed?

Why do you think you need a 6-speed swap....or an A5 swap for that matter. Is there something wrong with your current transmission?

and dont want to lose my 3rd pedal

whats wrong with a good five speed? why go to a six speed unless you are doing some road racing and want maximum flexibility.

1. Mostf people never use the 6 speed
2. the 6 speed is much more expensive
3. the 6 speed case is much bigger and requires more work to install

Go with the 5 speed. You will never know the difference and save money.

I have a 6 Speed in my Truck and love it, but honestly a 5 Speed in the Mustang is all you really need.
