This past Christmas, my friend's sister was hit by a car while she was crossing the street. She is lucky to be alive but she lost the use of her legs. She is going to be geting out of the hospital in a month or so. They are remodling the house to make it accessible for her. She is going to be stuck at home unless someone drives her where ever she needs to go. I know this is going to get old quick so I want to help them out.

I havn't talked to my friend about it but I want to see about converting her car to wheelchair accessable/drivable. Has anyone ever done this ? I know it can be done because I have a family friend who is also wheelchair bound and does not have use of her legs and she drives her 70 sportsroof everywhere.

Any sugestions or direction as to who to contact to get the needed parts for something like this ?
